Exceptional restaurant with fully open kitchen in Bordeaux.
At Mazal, the Mediterranean-inspired cuisine sublimates the product, and surprises as much as it delights. From beef carpaccio served on the table to flambéed mackerel, from traditional casseroles to crème brûlée with marrow bone, the experience is daring! The wine list also cultivates its singularity, with more than 130 references, and the cocktails are signed by Florian Boubet, chef-barman trained at the Honk-Kong school. Every evening, the bar lights up to announce the end of the service and the beginning of a festive evening...

Nous avons pris le menu découverte à l'aveugle et n'avons pas été déçus, les plats étaient tout meilleurs les uns que les autres.
Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !
We wanted to celebrate our last evening in Bordeaux and we thought it’s going to be a perfect choice. We were wrong.
The interior of the place looked amazing, and our hopes were high.
The moussesls were far from fresh and left a sour aftertaste. After telling that to the waiter, we were ignored and he simply took away the dish from us - we expected more from a restaurant which tries to give you a top food experience.
However, the baked cauliflower was really nice and we would recommend trying it.
To sum up, I wouldn’t come back. The prices were too high from what we have received. We paid €70 for free dishes out of which just one was decent.
