Spanish restaurant in Bordeaux offering homemade cuisine, tapas and pata negra ham.
With its Spanish colors and warm decor - stone walls and wooden beams - Bodega el Pata Negra welcomes you as if you were in an Andalusian bar, since the owner hails from Málaga. Here, Spanish is spoken, sung and danced! Against a backdrop of flamenco and Spanish rock, you'll enjoy comida casera cuisine, meaning that everything is homemade, from sangria and estofados (beef bourguignon revisited with spices and white wine: a delight) to tortilla and croquetas al jamón. The portions are hearty and the Spanish wine is well-priced. Groups and small tables alike are very welcome here for a tapas aperitif, and there's plenty of evening entertainment: flamenco, rumba, soccer... Impossible to get bored! We particularly appreciate the pata negra ham served cut up. A true corner of Spain nestled in the heart of the Saint-Pierre district.
