Homemade French fries and mussel dish served in a restaurant in Bordeaux offering duck confit or salmon steak.
This establishment is specialized in mussel recipes. Here, a unique formula is proposed at a small price, composed of an appetizer, unlimited home-made fries and a mussel casserole. You will have the choice between the mussels marinières, Roquefort, with cream, maraîchères (leek fondue), with curry, à l'Ardennaise (mushrooms, bacon, cream), à la Provençale (black olives, zucchinis, peppers, onions, tomatoes) or à la Basquaise (Espelette pepper, onion, chorizo, peppers, tomatoes). But also mussels au gratin with a supplement.

J ai cru a une blague..Je me suis retenue car j etais en presence de mes enfants mais il faudrait vivement apprendre le respect a certains de vos employés..on vient au resto pour se detendre ..et oui discuter ...entre nous et non pas manger avec nos yeux rivés sur nos telephones.....
Quand aux moules..insipide ...les sauces ne sont pas top du tout .dilué a l eau..C est un vrai fout.... de gu.....Est ce que vous goutez vraiment vos plats??...C est une honte de servir cela dans un resto qui porte ce nom..

A nice spot opposite the river. Nothing flamboyant but everything you want in a moules et frites restaurant.
Our waiter/server was excellent. He was so enthusiastic and exceptionally helpful when it came to choosing what wine to have. We were able to sample a couple before selecting a bottle for dinner, which was as good as expected. However, dinner was spot on. Mussels is, possibly, a simple dish but this was anything but. We had the Provencal and the Ardennes. Along with a simple but very tasty bowl of frites and bread they were an excellent choice. Follow this with creme brulee that was the best we tasted in Bordeaux. So, overall nothing to fault this place. Excellent food, great wine and outstanding service. It's a shame were home in the UK now and can't go there for dinner tonight!!
