Fancy some mussels and French fries? Head for Bistrot du Cachalot. With its terrace overlooking Place Saint-Michel, its patio and beautifully decorated dining room, the Bistrot du Cachalot has been on our radar ever since it reopened. Oysters, calamari en persillade, fish and chips, half-cooked tuna... and mussels! That evening, we had a choice of mussels à la Provençale or in an excellent Thai broth (coconut milk, lemongrass, coriander, baby vegetables). Several side dishes are available, but we opted for the excellent fries. Delicious and gourmet.

Le fish and chips est incroyable, les portions de moule hyper généreuses, les frites maison sont à tomber... Mais s'il y a une chose qu'on ne trouve pas ailleurs, c'est le travail sur les sauces et condiments ! Entre le beurre travaillé servi avec les huitres, a mayo maison aux algues, et la petite sauce au wasabi servies avec le mi-cuit de thon... tout est hyper travaillé, c'est délicieux !
Terrasse super sympa et serveurs agréables : c'est un sans faute !
Le service est très agréable.
