L'EMBARCADÈRE
Rare restaurant in the historic center of Bordeaux whose specialties are seafood and fish.
The old Parisian bistro style with a touch of sea spray seduced us with its abundance of accessories, pictures and references. But also because the Embarcadère is an institution! At this Master Restaurateur, seafood is king! A good dry white wine among the thirty or so references will perfectly accompany the seafood tasting plate, the farandole of oysters, a lobster au gratin with butter or the sole meunière. The day we came, a weekday evening, there was a lot of waiting (again). The dishes are correct, but they are not exceptional. However, the bill is expensive. The team is smiling, that's something!
