Burgers, lamb's lettuce and Thai sauce, tapas, sweet potatoes served in a garden restaurant in Bordeaux.
We are not going to say that here we serve you the best burgers in Bordeaux so as not to get angry with others who are also very good, but we think so very strongly. Leo Ben Soussan tells, to anyone who wants to hear it, that the recipe comes from his grandmother... In any case difficult to say which one we prefer, but we had a weakness for Ko Phi Phi and its exoticism: bun from the baker, chicken tenderloins marinated in coconut milk and curry, peanuts, avocado, cheddar, lamb's lettuce and Thai sauce. Vegetarians have their own burger: bun from the baker, chickpea cake, grilled eggplants, feta cheese, lamb's lettuce and mint and cumin yoghurt sauce. They are all served with potato or sweet potato chips. The Canteen also includes a few dishes such as this sirloin steak with gorgonzola sauce, salads and tapas. A small play area allows the children to let mom and dad eat quietly in a warm atmosphere.... The room is not very long and in summer some tables have been placed in the wooded garden.
