LA BOULANGERIE
Restaurant in Bordeaux offering sweetbreads, fire-grilled meats and gourmet desserts.
This small and original establishment has taken its brands in a former bakery in the Chartrons district. When we go ahead, we wonder about the nature of the place. Yet it is a restaurant designed in a bakery that has remained in the same. Push the door and you will discover a rather rustic garden with the wood oven at the bottom of the room. Here you can enjoy traditional entries (veal rice, Saint-Jacques nuts), grilled meat in the chimney (steaks, beef ribs, quails stuffed) and greedy desserts (profiteroles, Belle Hélène pear, armagnac talks).

The food was amazing, the starters were impeccable (including the snails). The mains were the weakest, but still fantastic (those chips were great!!) And the desserts were fantastic, especially the Colonel (lemon sorbet & vodka).
The best thing was the value, we had the set meal of €30 each for 2 courses. We added escargot and wine too.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Une soupe dans une restau n'était qu'une sombre blague avant de goûter CETTE garbure...
