Restaurant in Bordeaux offering sweetbreads, fire-grilled meats and gourmet desserts.

This small and original establishment has taken its brands in a former bakery in the Chartrons district. When we go ahead, we wonder about the nature of the place. Yet it is a restaurant designed in a bakery that has remained in the same. Push the door and you will discover a rather rustic garden with the wood oven at the bottom of the room. Here you can enjoy traditional entries (veal rice, Saint-Jacques nuts), grilled meat in the chimney (steaks, beef ribs, quails stuffed) and greedy desserts (profiteroles, Belle Hélène pear, armagnac talks).

Avoid! an! escape this place! I think that the person who 5 star previous opinion must be in complicity with the management of this restaurant, otherwise it is not possible differently! I went for my anniversary, there is little precisely fier these 5 star! do not believe wanting, it was a cauchemard from beginning to end! First of all, the street is completely deserted, as this restaurant! It stricement had stricement casas nobody at it except for the tenancière and cuisto, which expected only! The problem is that there is almost nothing on the menu or à la carte. You probably choose between the blasted duck breast (empty) and the rib steak (declined 2 or 3 sauces) and it is almost all! for starters, no better, it is not know that to choose so there are nothing exciting! The only thing that could have a small interret, was the cockerel roasted with wood fire, but by hazard, Ci had not been removed from the menu to the great despair of the tenancière who seeming during several minutes not to know that there was not! of course, from apparament it would not have the same pas de on this cursed menu! in short, I took grilled meat without major attractions! when with chips, they are rather average, and are not worth wanting travel! in short, eat you at home! no more. The owner has a quite particular humour and it welcomes the neighbour during your meal and speak with very high voice about the quacks about the area while watching tv! One has to avoid taking a dessert, prefer to leave the table as quickly as possible and escape this place. The only trick which can make illusion is setting (former bakery) with beautiful furniture and atmosphere cosi, but the setting is not enough. The first things in a restaurant must be the cuisine, it seems to me, and triple zero receive. Bordeaux abounds in good places, escape that here!
Nice super welcome, you are welcomed as at home: -)

The menu at €25 is very copious and tasty: chicken salad liver to apples or whole duck breast roasted with wood fire to rocquefort sauce accompanied by homemade chips, you UNTIES it!

The wine list is a very honourable rates and very pleasant jazzy atmosphere. Small " plus" the Chef: profiteroles (home-made) chocolate sauce heat, a delight for the palate!

Note for smokers, a lounge " cosy" you is dedicated.

EXCELLENT VALUE: Go closed eyes!
