Renowned for its sublime Art Deco façade, this brasserie formerly known as Café du Levant has been a Bordeaux institution since 1896! Today, it has reinvented itself as Bouillon Saint-Jean and continues to offer comforting traditional French cuisine at affordable prices: eggs mayonnaise, herring and apples in oil, onion soup, mussels marinière, beef bourguignon, Alsatian sauerkraut, chocolate profiteroles, baba au rhum...
