Restaurant with terrace in Bordeaux offering burger, homemade fresh foie gras or onion soup au gratin.
At La Taverne du Midi, the suitcases are as numerous as the customers. Opposite the Gare Saint-Jean, this Bordeaux brasserie feeds mouths from breakfast to dinner. The menu comes with all the classics of bistro cuisine: onion soup au gratin, homemade fresh foie gras with cognac, shallot bavette, sea bream, fried mussels, burger... There really is something for everyone. However, don't expect great food. If in doubt, do not hesitate to ask for advice. On the decoration side, you will appreciate the elegance of the place: a brewery atmosphere of the Belle Epoque, as you don't see much of it anymore, with its huge zinc and its bistro tables covered with red and white check tablecloths. At nightfall, the terrace is full of charm.
