Restaurant near the Botanical Garden in Bordeaux with terrace and spacious rooms for group meals.
The interior is full of charm with exposed stones and a period bistro. Very spacious, the back rooms are ideal for group meals. At lunchtime, the cuisine is simple and generous, giving pride of place to local and seasonal products: gizzard salad, vegetarian burger, beef tartar, tiramisu... In the evening, the atmosphere changes: the bistro is transformed into a tapas bar in a warm atmosphere. On the pleasant terrace facing the Sainte-Marie-de-la-Bastide church, sip a glass of wine with some appetizers.

We went there on a Friday night and we loved the place.
We don’t speak French but the owner made a great effort in explaining the options in the menu for us in English.
The food was fantastic. The Camembert cheese melted was amazing as well as the patatas bravas with a really tasty sauce.
My wife had a glass of wine and I tried their IPA beer (at first I thought the beer was a bit expensive but on the day after I discovered that is the normal price in Bordeaux).
The atmosphere was very pleasant and they also chose a nice music selection to play.
If one day we go back to Bordeaux, we will definitely visit again.
Je conseille d'y aller le matin pour prendre de bons cafés accompagnés si l'on veut par une viennoiserie ????
