Repéré au détour d'une balade jeudi, il faut dire que la devanture est jolie et attrayante, l'averse de vendredi nous a amenées à nous y abriter. Malgré une arrivée à l'heure du déjeuner, la patronne a accepté de libérer une table destinée au repas pour que nous puissions juste boire un café crème et une limonade. La déco est aussi chaleureuse que la patronne est sympathique !

Un super endroit pour bien boire et bien manger et être surtout si bien accueillie. Que de la bienveillance , de l’ambiance et de jolies choses à déguster. Une adresse à tester absolument !

Délicieux m, frais, de saison, une cuisine simple, généreuse et délicate. Le cadre est très douillet et apaisant. L'accueil est chaleureux. J'ai vraiment apprécié de faire une pause ici. Je repars en ayant bien mangé et détendue.

Came across this little gem after arriving late to Bordeaux well after my 4yo daughters bedtime looking for something nearby to get her food asap after a long journey. The menu looked great, but we were unsure about our daughter eating anything. The waitress was extremely nice and offered to have alternatives in the case she doesn't like anything we order. Well we got both the vegetarian and butchers plate and my daughter loved several things from both. And we loved the food as well! Thanks for a great first night after a long day of travel!

Nous cherchions un p'tit resto typique et au détour d'une rue nous sommes tombés sur l'Etoile. Serveuse très sympa et de très bons conseils notamment pour le vin. Nous nous sommes régalées d'assiettes de légumes et de fromages. Un Corbières délicieux a accompagné notre repas. Merci à l'Etoile

We stumbled upon this cafe on the hunt for breakfast and decided to eat here because of the great atmosphere and lovely design/interior. It’s very authentic French with great service and a wide variety of food! Prices were completely reasonable for the amount of food we received. They even had milk alternatives (oat) and so patient with our very limited French.
Cannot recommend enough. It’s so quiet and serene, we enjoyed our time and the food.

Personale gentile e simpatico, cibo sotto forma di piccole “tapas”, ottimo come aperitivo. Buono, originale, tavoli all’aperto in una via tranquilla ma di passaggio pedonale. Ottima esperienza (mi hanno anche offerto un bicchiere di vino extra nell’attesa che il mio telefono si ricaricasse: doppia gentilezza!)

Update: I did go back for lunch and it was majestic. Love in every bite, with dessert surpassing all my expectations.

Absolutely adorable place I have simply stumbled upon. As all good things in life, this came as a complete surprise and it was entirely pleasant. Going back tomorrow for lunch. Not only is the place itself so quaint and gives you that home feel one may miss when traveling for a while, but the chef is a power woman who turned this place into what it is with her love for life one cannot help but notice. Enjoy and make the trip even if it's far from where you are staying in Bordeaux. It is entirely and without a doubt worth a visit.

Beautiful little place, very friendly staff and great service! We went twice in one day - once for lunch and once for dinner and drinks. Loved the Glouglou red wine. At night it was very vibey, with people having a drink on the sidewalk outside.
