Tapas, tartare, traditional dishes from the South West of France in a restaurant with terrace in Bordeaux.
Ideally located opposite Saint-André Cathedral, on Place Pey-Berland (and next to the town hall), Le café français is a must for anyone visiting the city. In this traditional brasserie, which has been in place since 1899, it is very pleasant to have breakfast in the morning when the city wakes up... you can of course simply enjoy an ice cream after visiting the cathedral, have tea with friends after shopping, lunch or dinner with friends or family. Different formulas are available but you can choose from an à la carte tartar menu, fish in salt crust (reservation recommended) and traditional dishes from the South-West. Tapas are to be enjoyed in the small friendly area equipped with sofas on the terrace. The service is perfect because it is very professional and efficient, the decoration is cosy and elegant, the cuisine is delicious. To be tested, certainly.

- the dish is different from what is marked on the menu (salmon tartare with chips served without) and staff denies - the profiteroles are marked " maison" but are not it
in short, a tourist trap
