LE BURDIGALA * * * * *
Chic, tastefully decorated hotel with private cinema and semi-gastronomic restaurant
Closed for 2 years, the Burdigala (former name of Bordeaux in Roman times) has reopened its doors, upgrading from 4 to 5 stars. Everything has been rethought and redone. The decor is refined and chic, with noble materials (wood and velvet) blending with natural colors in an intimate, cosy atmosphere. Contemporary art takes pride of place on the walls of the rooms and suites, in the bar and in the restaurant. On the second floor, you can enjoy a drink on the terrace or under the glass roof. Plus: a private cinema and a semi-gastronomic restaurant.

The hotel; Gorgeous! Beautifully appointed, stylish and comfortable (rather than cold and clinical).
Madam B; again, great staff and very nice gin and tonics.
Bedroom; comfortable with everything we needed. Bed was great as is the shower!
Checkout; we had a very early checkout (3.15am!) but checkout was seamless and just as nice as our welcome. The receptionist even gave us two bottles of water to take on our trip. Nice touch!
Location: perfect! Lively bars, restaurants just around the corner.
Summary: We will definitely stay here again ❤
