GIEN
History: Gien's Faïenceria was founded in 1821 by English Thomas Hall, who wanted to introduce English fine fatherhood into France. Production began with utilitarian dishes and then focused on the manufacture of table services, decorative parts and weapons services for large families. Faïenceria is constantly working to improve quality and artistic development. This philosophy enabled him to make exceptional exhibits at the various universal exhibitions from 1855 to 1900. Today Gien's Faïenceria is the first quality company in France and a successful company in the national and international market. Its productions, with very strong personality, distinguish themselves from other ceramics by the richness, finesse and variety of their shapes and scenery. His dough is soft, porous and opaque. It is made with respect for craft techniques and therefore bears the distinctive signs. Creation surrounds the most talented designers to develop its collections.
