LA HALLE DES CHARTRONS
Originally couvent and then a market place to the Revolution, the Halle was made by Charles Burguet in 1869, building a six-sided building covered with a metal structure, then wrapped it from a crown later, to make it known today. The bays in total, which subdivide the faces of the Halles, give it a beautiful brightness and wide openness on the outside. Restored in 1998, it offers an architectural mix of stone, glass and iron, offering an ideal place for the development of numerous exhibitions and cultural events. Managed by the Delegation of the artistic Broadcast of the City Hall of Bordeaux, it usually offers exhibitions of all kinds, classical music, current music or the theatre of improvisation.
