Founded in 1998 by Stéphane Alvarez and Carole Pierret, the Théâtre du Pont Tournant supports the creation and dissemination of performing arts in the region. This local venue blends exchange and conviviality around culture in general. Located in the heart of the Bacalan district, close to the Bassin à Flots, the Théâtre du Pont Tournant offers a fine, entertaining and above all varied program: concerts, theater, support evenings, children's shows, exhibitions, storytelling and film-concerts. The theater was the first in Aquitaine to be equipped with a magnetic loop and surtitles, to enable hearing-impaired people to enjoy its shows.

The seats are not super comfortable but it mini room where you wait at the entrance is very friendly, the gauge being small, you are sure to be close to the stage for better game actors and especially the programme is exceptional. I was enchanted by the ingenuity of the performances of the rooms that I have there views and game actors.
