Every year, Chahuts, the festival of the spoken word, takes up residence in and around the Saint-Michel district.
This is not the first time Chahuts, the festival of the spoken word, has made a splash. Chahuts, as the association is called, is a merry mess that takes over the Saint-Michel district of Bordeaux and the surrounding area. Shows, workcamps, storytelling, workshops, participatory projects, exhibitions, performances, boat trips, open-air rehearsals, public warm-ups, collective listening sessions, parties and more. They also invent temporary utopian zones at school exits, to put themselves on a child's level.
