In Bordeaux, the Christmas market is an opportunity to discover the work of craftsmen and shopkeepers under the shelter of wooden chalets.
As in every town in France, artisans and shopkeepers set up shop in the famous little wooden chalets in December. A tradition that never loses its charm... In the capital of Gironde, this year, it takes place on the Place des Quinconces, illuminated by the Christmas lights. Families and friends gather to look for gift ideas and treat themselves. Between purchases, stop by one of the counters for a glass of mulled wine, a sweet crêpe or some hot chestnuts. You might even bump into Santa Claus in his chalet!
