Alienor Tribal is a dance school located in Talence, in the rue de Saint-Genès. It offers FCBD® fusion dance classes open to beginners and advanced dancers. FCBD® dance is a fusion of East and West, allowing dancers to express themselves and communicate with each other. Classes are held mainly in Bordeaux. FCBD® fusion dance can be practiced as a group, solo or duet, and enables dancers to express themselves by dancing to music with creativity and solidarity. Inspired by oriental, Indian, flamenco and gypsy dances, this dance originated in the United States in the 1960s. It was created by Jamila Salimpour, Masha Archer and Carolena Nericcio. Alienor Tribal classes teach the movements and the keys that announce them, so as to be able to communicate with the group. The dancers use sagattes, or cymballettes, to create their own sound to fast-paced rhythms. The aesthetics of FCBD® dance are also very important, with costumes including Indian cholis, baggy pants, full skirts and antique jewelry.
