In 2014, the Girondins of Bordeaux Handball Club filed the balance sheet. Fortunately, a new association is created under the name Girondins of Bordeaux Bastide HBC. It hosts a multi-sport school for children, girls as boys, aged 4 to 11, in which they can exercise every Saturday morning to handball, but also to football, athletics, judo, karate, boxing, hockey or badminton. For adults: Nordic walking, boxing, Hand 'Fit, badminton and step. The Club also develops Sports Holidays and is committed to health sport. The Girondins team is currently evolving in the National Union 3 and plays in Salle Jean-Dauguet, right bank. They are supported by a fan club. The President of the Club is Christian Malichecq.
