The Higher School of Music and Dance of Aquitaine succeeds CEFEDEM after twenty years of existence. The institution works in partnership with major actors (Metropolis, Conservatory, opera, region…) to issue diplomas. In the programme: preparation for the superior national diploma of musician, licenses in musicology or the diploma of dance teacher. It also offers a continuous training service with validations of experience (VAE), state diplomas and vocational retraining courses (singing, orchestra, baroque…). Note that the PESMD offers a wide range of international training. Finally, the school offers numerous concerts and shows with the OARA at the Molière Theatre, Aquitaine Scene, and DRAC, Cuvier, Palmer Rock…
