BIBLIOTHÈQUE DU JARDIN BOTANIQUE
The Botanical Garden Library is a place of walking and learning for the lovers of plants, flowers and herbers, but also for the simple curious nature. The botanical garden has a rich collection of 8,000 volumes and herbers with more than 300,000 boards available free of charge on site. One tenth of the books presented date before 1830, the oldest of which were written in the seventeenth century and thus testify to the reflections and studies of the naturalists at the time. Many recent books complement the collection. The library catalog is available in part on www.bibliotheque.bordeaux.fr. The books of the library, such as those of the educational library for children, are to be consulted on-site on request. A children's books section is available for groups or for facilitators and teachers on request.
