THE MARCO POLO
The Marco Polo is a cruise ship built in Sweden in 1960. It sailed in the Baltic Sea before being bought by "Ships and Castles" and then joined the "Bordeaux waters". After its acquisition, it underwent extensive work to bring it into line with the latest European standards. It can accommodate up to 150 passengers to sail on the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, to Cadillac, Libourne, Pauillac, Bourg and Blaye. In July and August we set off on a buffet cruise composed of Pierre Oteiza's Basque charcuterie, Baud and Millet cheeses and a selection of wines by André Lurton, an owner and winegrower of several châteaux in the Bordeaux region. Marco Polo also offers tasting cruises, cruises accompanied by a jazz trio, cruises with oenological entertainment, stops in the most beautiful châteaux with visits and tasting of the best Bordeaux wines, etc. The boat can also be privatized for seminars, company meals, conferences, family reunions. You can even rent it entirely. The boat's two large air-conditioned lounges and the upper deck are equipped with a hi-fi sound system and two 50-inch LCD screens.
