GALLIAN PALAIS
The ruins of the Palace Gallien are among the ancient vestiges of the city of Bordeaux. In Roman times, this building, built by the Emperor Gallien in the third century, served as an amphitheatre for the games. At the time, the wooden stands hosted 20 000 spectators attending chars and gladiators races.
