HOTEL FRUGÈS
A naturalist-themed art and technology hotel featuring unique works by numerous artists of the period
The Hotel Frugès was built between 1912 and 1927 by Pierre Ferret for Henry Frugès. Passionate about art and architecture, this sugar industrialist in love with the Orient wanted to make his hotel "a small museum of the arts and techniques of the early 20th century". In this private mansion, Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Orientalist influences are mixed together... It is a unique work to which many artists of the time contributed. Very attached to naturalistic themes for his home, it is assumed that he also imagined the decor of his garden.
