THE FOOD OF ART
On the banks of Bacalan, there is a surprising place in its form, between street-art, heritage and nature. Art Food - The area of potential is an association that brings together several objectives: rehabilitate the city's port heritage and at the same time encourage artistic creation. Created in 2008 by the sculptor Jean-François Buisson, the association settled in the two former slaughterhouses of the Marine food, atypical places inscribed on the UNESCO heritage. They are still in rehabilitation and still boiling, regularly hosting multiple cultural activities. In this place of art, programming is like the place: eclectic, atypical and dynamic. Keywords are sharing and opening-up! The Place Raulin was also integrated instead with the Open B 'art project, becoming a garden lined with sculptures. The aim of the Art of Art is thus to promote the emergence of new talents by integrating them into a dynamic of construction. In this project, the public occupies an important place because works must be seen and bought so that artists can live in their work!
