CHEZ JEAN-MI
At the covered market bistro, there is an oyster bar run by Karine and Joseph, it really belongs to the Capu market's soul and atmosphere! In the morning patrons have their small coffee, but we come there especially to enjoy seafood, oysters, cheese and cold cuts at lunchtime! Fish soup, straight from Bègles, is also a beautiful surprise in winter when you need to warm up in this large bubbling marketplace. All products are fresh and of good quality, coming from celebrated suppliers. Here you also taste good little delicacy, desserts that change according to days and seasons. It smells like good life here, the gathering of friends come to have a drink of dry white wine and eat a few shrimps, whelks or pork products, at very reasonable prices. Obviously, sometimes you have to be a little patient on Sunday as lovers of the place are numerous, but it’s a promise: everyone will be served at Jean-Mi!
