A Corsican crowned for his chocolatine in Bordeaux gets people talking far beyond the Godard district. Antoine Savoyardi moved closer to excellence in 2016, and he's still going strong: he's even represented the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in the final of the Best Bakery in France in 2021. You can buy a whole range of breads from him, including a delicious sesame loaf, crisp and with a crumb made up of beautiful honeycombs. He also offers flaky, praline-filled brioches, strawberry éclairs with whipped cream and seasonal fruit tarts.
