DES PAINS QUI PARLENT
There are addresses that are loved for the quality of their products, their welcome and their involvement in the life of the neighbourhood. That is exactly what we are saying to each other at Pierre-Xavier Barranger. Here, all the breads are kneaded slowly for optimal fermentation, shaped and baked on site in the bakery, and the creations are made from several finely selected flours, made from cereals grown in the South West and leaven. Every day more than forty loaves of bread are put on the shelf. Among our favourites are the Bordeaux crown with its beautiful crispy crust and brown crumb and walnut pie to accompany cheeses. On the sweet side, it is the great waltz of pleasures: lemon meringue pie, Bordeaux candies, chocolate tartlet, giant chocolate flashes for four people... The company also makes customizable cakes for birthdays, as well as salty cakes for aperitifs.
