JO MARÉE
Jo Marée, the top-of-the-range fish in Bordeaux and its region, is a family business whose reputation has been firmly established. Thierry and José took over from their father, the famous Jo, and run from Tuesday to Saturday on twelve markets: alternately on the organic markets of Pessac (Place de la Ve Republique), Caudéran (Stade Stéhelin), Les Chartrons (on the quays), Saint-Seurin (Place Martyrs-de-la-Résistance), or on the traditional markets of Léognan, Saint-Médard-en-Jalles, Saint-Aubin-de-Médoc (you will find all the details of the days and the markets on their website). Holiday makers can even remain faithful to it in summer by finding Jo Marée on the Arcachon Bay, under the covered Market of Piraillan (open 7 days a week in July and August, from 8am to 1pm). Its motto: bringing the best fish at the best price! Precursor in suggesting prawns and salmon from organic farms, it is undeniably distinguished by its freshness and quality. It favours line fishing and the majority of the fish are wild... It is provided daily directly from regional auctions (Royan, Arcachon, île d'Oléron and Saint-Jean-de-Luz) or national (Sables d'Olonne, Bretagne, Boulogne-sur-Mer and Mediterranean), guarantee of control and traceability. Another important asset: it brings a rigorous care to the respect for the cold chain, from suppliers to benches. Sea shells and shellfish, on the sunny markets, trust Jo Marée!
