MAISON FRANCO
A good smell of roasted chicken emerges as soon as you enter the Maison Franco. But not only chicken tickles our nostrils, but also suckling lamb shoulder, roast and ribs of pork, cockerel, roast duck breast with foie gras or Espelette pepper, lasagna. During the holidays you can order a piglet, chicken or capon de Bresse, a roast guinea fowl stuffed with foie gras, etc. In short, exceptional meats that are served with homemade mashed potatoes, gratin dauphinois, green beans, vichy carrots, granulated potatoes, vegetable tian... The House is also a delicatessen: Jean d'Alose cheeses, Saunion chocolates, honeys, jams, oils, ready meals such as the famous lamprey in the Bordeaux sauce or mother-in-law's couscous once a month, oils and vinegars, organic fruit juices without forgetting a wine cellar with some foreign references (Italy and Colombia). A 15-course table d'hôtes and a terrace welcome those who wish to eat on site, as the house is also a restaurant, or to have a drink while waiting for the meat to finish cooking. By choosing excellence, Emmanuelle and Philippe Franco have succeeded in retaining a clientele that extends beyond Avenue d'Eysines
