Cascades du Hérisson at Menétrux-en-Joux, featuring thirty-one jumps, including seven large cascades over 3.7 km and a vertical drop of 255 m.

31 jumps including 7 large waterfalls over 3.7 km, and a difference in height of 255 m... You can understand why 500,000 visitors converge on this site every year. The trail can be reached from several points. Starting from the bottom, the Eventail waterfall (65 m). Then gain the Grand Saut (60 m) by climbing some laces. The good walkers start from the top, from Ilay or Bonlieu, starting with the Saut Girard (35 m) and ending with the most impressive ones. Whichever way you go, plan to do the round trip, which is 7.4 km for just under 3 hours.

Le chemin longe la rivière et font découvrir de très jolies cascades , promenade sympa en famille !!! prévoir des chaussures de marche ! glissant par endroit , sentiers en sous bois , très rafraîchissant en période de grosses chaleurs .

Magnifiques cascades qui sont absolument à voir !
Attention il est important d'être bien chaussé d'autant plus quand il a plus la nuit les sentiers restent très glissants.

It is beautiful, we sink into the bottom of a narrow green valley and arrive at the house of waterfalls. We are given a plan and we are quietly climbing into the woods to the first waterfall: the range is particularly beautiful because spring was rainy. There are 7 waterfalls, each rising at its pace. We need good shoes, breathing. If you're tired, you don't have to go to the 7 th. It's a very refreshing walk to make with your family. We go down quietly, a snack awaits you if the walk gave you hunger (it's good and cheap)
