Here is a pleasant hike of about 10 km, which makes it easier to "understand" the story of Belfort. It begins with the tower of the Forges Pond with discovery of local fauna and flora, continuing with the climb to the Tower of La Miotte (a place of legend!) then passage by the Fort of Justice and ends by the citadel and the Lion. This promenade offers a nature escape in the city and beautiful panoramas on the famous blue line of the Vosges. You can continue the hike path to discover other military works in the territory, but you will need… several days because hiking is 75 kilometers in total!
