MARCHÉ FRÉRY
The Fréry market is located at the exit of the old town, along the Quai Vauban, at the corner of Rue du Docteur-Fréry. Built in 1904 on the site of part of the destroyed fortifications, and recently restored, the Halle Fréry is one of the jewels of Belfort, a commercial and architectural heritage, made entirely of steel and glass. Saturday morning is one of the dates for the Belfortainers. There are about forty shopkeepers, including some local producers. On Saturdays, you will find good organic vegetables from the "Biau Potager", cheeses from the Plainot goat farm, poultry and pork specialities from the La Roche Jella farm... You will also find local fruit, bread, meat products, flowers, etc.
