MARCHÉ DES VOSGES
The market in the Faubourg des Vosges is located on the left side of the street, on the left of the avenue Jean-Jaurès, towards the north (facing 142-144, between Rue de Bordeaux and rue de Madagascar). On Sunday, this is the most frequented market in the department. The building was built by the same company as the Fréry market, but 25 years later, around 1930. It is a fine example of Art Deco architecture! If this market has a less central position than the Fréry market, it contains the most important of its craftsmen, and it has the advantage of being a good refuelling point on Sunday. 42 subscribers are present in the covered hall and offer mouth products. More than subscribers or passengers are installed outside to offer various products of leather goods, workmanship, bazaar, etc.
