MÉMÉ LIESEL
So simply say, we loved! Just joined Mémé, we fall under the charm of this careful Alsatian atmosphere: nothing was left at random in the cosy decoration. Warm colours of the fabrics (chairs of grey leather, red cœurs coatings) enhance the wood of the benches and parquet parquet. The trompe-eye eye (windows, shutters and half-colombages) complete us in Alsace where Nicolas taught in the kitchen of his mémé Liesel and then in that of the famous Winstub Strasbourg chic at Yvonne. Everything is done home thanks to local suppliers who have the elegance of paying tribute to the map: Le from Anaïs to a few feet, To small onions (sausage smoked in the sauerkraut is a "massacre"). Everything makes sense: bouchées to the traditional queen of calf, shank, flammenküches (only evening and will on Tuesdays). The wine card is good (Pinot Noir from Lorentz, you will tell me some news!). Even the plate of raw vegetables has taste. It is impossible to finish without a baba with richly with rum. Friendly and diligent service. Smart? The house is a caterer, so think to impress your guests with a real onion pie… or meringuée rhubarb. Those who leave naturally greet those who have the chance to stay a little more… a symbol!
