The Lucien Quélet Agricultural High School in Valdoie is a public training establishment run by the French Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Forestry. Founded in 1958, it offers general, technological and vocational training in agriculture, horticulture and sales. General and technological courses include a seconde générale et technologique and a bac technologique STAV with a specialization in agronomy, food, environment and territory. Vocational courses include CAPs, vocational bacs and BTSs in landscaping, horticulture and sales. The school has an on-site flower and vegetable production farm, as well as other educational workshops such as an animal and fish farm. Every year, around 330 pupils and students attend the school, 150 of whom are accommodated on site during the training week.
