Located at the bottom of the village, at the beginning of the Route des Chaumières, the church of Aizier, a gift from Duke Richard II to the Abbey of Fécamp, was built at the end of the 11th century (strangely made of Caen stone, while the Seine Valley is full of raw materials) and has seen several construction campaigns. Two elements remain from this period: the tower, whose five floors, slightly set back from each other, increasingly decorated and pierced with openings as one rises, create an impression of a very sensitive vertical momentum, and the choir with its chevet in a hemicycle, without decoration. Behind the church, where a rest area is located on the banks of the Seine, stood the village's old port, which has been documented since Roman times.
