KIKI CARTON
Since 2004, Claudie Duvivier, alias Kiki, has performed armchairs, low tables, consoles, shelves, mirrors, and theatre decorations based on corrugated cardboard. Furniture is painted, varnished, embellished with motifs. It’s not a matter of durability because the boxes, carefully selected, are cut and worked to withstand up to 100 kg of lift per cm, thanks to a technique used to design boats. Shapes and colours, always very creative, are chosen with the client, and each room is unique. This artist will gladly receive you by appointment. Kiki organises courses and published in the editions Fleurus "The great book of cardboard furniture" (2010) where she reveals her secrets of manufacturing.
