NOTRE DAME CHURCH
Church in the heart of the village to appreciate a remarkable porch of the 12th century, of Romanesque origin, in Campigny.
On the pretty main square, in the heart of the village, stands the unmissable Notre-Dame church with its campaniform roof, surmounted by a graceful lantern that houses a small chapel. At the entrance, even if the church is closed, you will be able to appreciate a remarkable 12th-century porch of Romanesque origin. The building, which has undergone numerous alterations, notably preserves a 13th-century choir. The bell tower, destroyed by a storm, was replaced in the 18th century. To get up there, one has to climb the 63 narrow steps leading to its top.
