SAINTE-FOY CHURCH
Church featuring an 8-bay nave flanked by aisles and extended by a 7-sided choir
Completely rebuilt in the 16th century in the flamboyant Gothic style, Sainte-Foy church features a finely sculpted bell tower. It also features an 8-bay nave, flanked by aisles and extended by a 7-sided choir. Its stained glass windows form a remarkable collection, reflecting the art of glassmaking in the mid-17th century Normandy. Its southern tower is topped by a 56-metre-high spire, a perfect copy of the original spire that crashed during a storm in 1842, shattering some of the windows and causing extensive damage.
