A 600 museum in Conches-en-Ouche dedicated to the famous master glassmaker François Décorchemont.
Conches is the home of the famous master glassmaker François Décorchemont, creator of models for the great houses Lalique and Daum. To preserve his stained glass windows, the town decided to open this 600m2 conservation facility in 1996, now a Musée de France. On display are works by Décorchemont, of course, but also by his grandsons Antoine and Étienne Leperlier, as well as contemporary artists... Today, the museum is housed in a former 19th-century hospice.
