Restaurant with a family atmosphere between the Castle of Gaillon and Château-Gaillard.
Situated halfway between the Château de Tradition and Château Gaillard, Nataly’s looks like a bistro. Frills decoration, spacious with airy tables. Le Petit Smart tested a Sunday lunch by reservation. Upon entering, the family atmosphere was absent, and we dined in a somewhat noisy environment reminiscent of the truck stops and highway rest areas, with a waitress who did not smile. We waited for over 30 minutes for the copious, yet ordinary, charcuterie platter. For the main course, we chose the shallot sauce with beef flap and home fries. The meat was very tender but lacked flavour, however, it was enhanced by an excellent shallot sauce; the French fries were disappointing, as was the Normandy pie, which was stodgy. Nevertheless, the owners are friendly, but that does not compensate for everything...
