The Romanesque church of Foulbec is built on a promontory and dominates the Risle valley. It dates back to the 11th century, there is still the portal, classified. Note on its facade, above the tympanum, an English inscription from the Hundred Years' War, when Normandy came under English control again in 1415 after the Battle of Azincourt. In the past, an arm of the Risle flowed under the church and a small commercial port had even developed there.
