SAINT-OUEN CHURCH
In the centre of the village, the church dedicated to Saint-Ouen, surrounded by its cemetery, was once sponsored by the Bishop of Avranches. The classic rectangular building with a slightly overhanging choir has some beautiful remains: a half-timbered porch, buttresses at the corners of the façade and a slate bell tower (which recently received a new rooster at its top). Inside, we can notice above all the beautiful altarpiece of the high altar of the Louis XIII period, attributed to the Rouen sculptor Michel Lourdel. On either side of this altarpiece are two ancient statues representing Saint-Ouen on the left and Saint-Barthélemy on the right.
