EXPOSITIONS DU MUSÉE DES IMPRESSIONNISMES
Every year, the Musée des Impressionnismes de Giverny organises exhibitions dedicated to this pictorial movement and its extensions in 20th century art, bringing together works from the greatest national and international museums. And the 2019 vintage looks very promising, since two temporary exhibitions are to be expected. The first, from March 22 to July 14, entitled "Monet-Auburtin", brings together the works of Claude Monet and Jean-Francis Auburtin. Fifty years later, he was inspired by the great master to learn about painting. The second, from July 27 to November 11, will feature the works of Ker-Xavier Roussel, the great decorator who began with Nabi experiments and then revisited mythology in large frescoes.
