A monastery located in Le Bec-Hellouin, where the sisters share their life between community prayer and work.
The monastery of Sainte-Françoise Romaine stands in the middle of the countryside, 2 kilometres from the majestic abbey of Bec-Hellouin. Twenty-five Olivetan Benedictine sisters of all ages, whose life is divided between times of prayer and work (mainly candle-making), live in this monastery today. This monastic-oblate community shares the same worship with the monks of Notre-Dame du Bec Abbey on Sundays and feast days.

"Vous serez accueilli comme le Christ". J'imagine bien le Christ rentrer de son périple de 40 jours dans le désert et apprendre qu'il doit payer 42€ pour passer une journée dans cet endroit.
