Created in 1962, Le Vaudreuil is the oldest golf course in the Eure department. Situated on a 95-hectare site, its 18-hole course was designed by English architect Fred Hawtree in 1961, in the middle of a vast park planted with thousands of hundred-year-old trees of various species, in the heart of one of the loops of the Seine. You don't need to be a seasoned player to appreciate the beauty of the setting. Just take a seat at the restaurant table to appreciate the surroundings. The restaurant is housed in a superb 17th-century tithe barn.

Un golf magnifique...une équipe aux petits soins des golfeurs...à faire

We had an overnight stay at the hotel and a round of golf today. Hotel is reviewed separately. The welcome here is good, thank you Alyssa. All staff encountered were first class. The golf course is a classic parkland course. On our visit the greens were very good. The fairways needed a cut but were playable. Bunkers were good with the revetted artificial turf, wish they had these where I play. You can play to handicap here first time playing if you plan your shots off the tee (thank you google earth). The clubhouse is very good with a well stocked pro shop. Only downside is what I would consider overpriced drinks…€9,00 for a large beer! Food wise we had breakfast in the clubhouse for €12.90 which I thought was fair. All in all very good and would return, certainly in the summer…I suspect it would be a bit muddy in the “off season” ;) We paid €107,00 for two rounds which was fair.
