NOTRE-DAME COLLEGIATE CHURCH
The collegiate church of Notre-Dame is a veritable architectural and artistic history book.
The collegiate church, the town’s jewel, was built in the 13th century on the site of the former abbey of Sainte-Clotilde, and remodelled in the 16th century. It took almost four centuries to achieve the result we see today. The majestic monument is, in fact, a veritable history book on architecture. Inside, you won’t want to miss the Renaissance organ case, 16th-century statues, 17th-century paintings attributed to Quentin Varin and Jacques Stella, and rich stained-glass windows by 16th-century masters.
